Yamaha-ACT Scholarship Program is an annual scholarship program that aims to foster professional development by providing financial assistance to members of the National Agricultural Communicators of Tomorrow (ACT).
ACT is a national association of college student which currently has about 350 members spread over about 17 college and university campuses across the country. Stepped out the third of Yamaha-ACT Scholarship program will be divided into two individual student scholarships and one chapter scholarship that would be a help for students to attend the biggest gathering of annual Agricultural Media Summit (AMS) and networking opportunities for career development every year.
The scholarship program is also expected to support the professional development of ACT students as professional communicators in the future. Some Yamaha representatives, members of the AAEA and members of LPC will be the review team that will be responsible for selecting the candidates that includes performance appraisals, needs and quality of submissions.
For the years 2010-2011 scholarship program will be limited until the end of February and the announcement of the winners in early May 2011. For more information and application forms at www.nactnow.org
