Study Abroad for Youth Scholarship

Opportunity for high school students to get a chance to study abroad in the National Language Initiative scholarship program for youth scholarships. The scholarship program established thanks to sponsorship from the the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs.

Scholarship is a merit-based, and full-tuition scholarship for high school students in this summer, semester or year abroad. Some requirements that must be met for the students to be eligible are a GPA of 2.5 or higher and be U.S. citizens. Applicants must also be aged between 15-18 years.

A record of academic, emotional maturity and interest in language acquisition will be considered as a finalist. However, previous language experience is not an advantage.
