Studying in the best American universities with the Fulbright program

There are plenty of opportunities offered by the Fulbright program, through which every year facilitates the exchange of students, researchers and teachers, and Italian Americans. In order to participate in the selection, however, there is an essential requirement, namely, the perfect knowledge of English or TOEFL or the certified IELTS.

The Fulbright program encourages the mobility of Italian scientists who want to spend a period of study or research in the U.S.. The opportunities offered by the Fulbright concern graduates in all disciplines, among them such as art and music. In order to participate in the selection of Fulbright grants must have earned a TOEFL or IELTS: For some programs, the minimum score of TOEFL required is 70, for another 100. But how to organize the Fulbright program? It is divided into 3 different sections: curriculum, research and teaching.

PROGRAMMES studies
Relate to students wishing to pursue a master's degree in the U.S. or a PhD. They are divided into:

-Self-Placed Fulbright IIE and Fulbright Placed: allow you to attend one academic year in an American university student's choice; concern graduates in all disciplines, with the exception of business organization and graduates in the medical field. It 'must have graduated no more than three years. Maturity 16/04/2012 5/12/2011 for the first and the second;

Fulbright-Santoro: to attend the first year of a Masters in International Relations at a university by the student or chosen from among those offered by the Institute of International Education. And 'addressed to graduates of not more than 3 years in Political Science and International Relations. Maturity 16/04/2012;

-Fulbright-Finmeccanica aimed at graduates in science and technology, allows for up to two years to attend a master's degree from an American university student's choice. Deadline 05/12/2011.
Research programs
Are addressed to PhD students, to research doctors, researchers and professors. They are divided into:

Visiting student-researcher: for PhD students in all disciplines except business Admistration and the medical field. The option is to do a research stay for a period of 6 to nine months. Deadline 09/01/2012

-Research Scholar: as above, this also allows a stay of research, with the difference that this is addressed to PhD, associate professors and researchers. The research areas are all except the doctor. Deadline 19/01/2012

Fulbright-Schuman Program: designed to PhD students, postdocs, researchers, teachers and experts in fields such as politics, the media, public administration, academia. The study area covers Europe and the history of relations between Europe and the USA. Deadline 29/10/2011.

Finally, there are programs of education, for all researchers and teachers associated with the Foreign Language Teaching Assistant except Program, which is targeted at young people up to 29 years who have gained a proven experience of teaching.

Now a MSU student get turn to a Fulbright Scholarship

After successfully providing Fulbright scholarships to about 300,000 participants, is now a golden opportunity fall to Ashley Winker a recent graduated student at Murray State University. She received the Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship in Spain for 2012. She was pleased to get a chance about a year for the mission in a relationship of exchange between cultures in the community in Santander, Cantabria, Spain. She will be tasked to assist in secondary school classrooms in the global class.

Winkler has also benefited from her experience of going abroad as the British, Korean and Spanish which will be where she is assigned. At least, she's more or less already know how to interact with local residents. Some of its Fulbright scholarship missions are to provide understanding about the UN, to discuss world issues and the responsibility.

J. William Fulbright scholarship is a scholarship pioneered by James William Fulbright, an American, who had long career in the U.S. Congress for international affairs. Scholarships chosen for academic achievement and leadership potential, with opportunities to learn, teach, conduct research, exchange ideas and contribute to finding solutions to international problems together.

Fulbright program sponsored by the U.S. State Department which scheduled to international educational exchange in the aim of increasing mutual understanding between United States citizens and communities of other countries.
The candidates were asked to state institutions of their choice on the application form, although a final decision about the host institution will be conducted by the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission in UK.
